4. Health and Nutrition Disclaimer
This Site is a personal ingredient list made for fun — not a recipe, not a nutrition guide, and not medical advice. What works in my smoothie routine may not be right for everyone.
Supplements can affect people differently. Some may interact with medicines or have effects that depend on your health situation. The fact that an ingredient is mentioned here isn’t a recommendation for you to use it. Use each product’s label for serving guidance.
If you take multiple supplements, have a health condition, or have questions about whether any of these ingredients are appropriate for you, please consult a healthcare professional or registered dietitian.
A note on chia seeds specifically: chia seeds can swell and become lodged in the esophagus if consumed dry, especially for people with swallowing difficulties. My practice is to soak chia in liquid for 30 minutes to 2 hours until fully gelled before consuming. See the American College of Gastroenterology guidance ↗.
The Site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of the third-party sources it links to (NIH, CDC, MedlinePlus, AHA, ACG, USDA, or others). Those links are provided for general reference only.
